<description><![CDATA[Next week I will participate in the <a href="http://cepe2009.ionio.gr/">8th International Conference of Computer Ethics: Philosophical Enquiry (CEPE 2009)</a>, where I will host "Special Panel Discussion on occasion of the 10th Anniversary of the foundation of the International Center for Information Ethics". You will find a little more information on the panel as well as a paper contributed by Charles Ess at the <a href="http://icie.zkm.de/meetings">ICIE web site</a>.<br />

I will also give a talk on "Security, Computer, and Ethics" at the conference, which is not listed in the programme yet.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[I just came back from Glasgow and Jura last week, where I have taken part in the Surveillance Symposium at the <a href="http://www.instituteforadvancedstudies.org.uk/Programmes/SurveillanceandSociety.aspx">Institute of Advanced Studies</a> (University of Strathclyde, Glasgow). Next week I will do a small presentation at the kick-off workshop of the SiKomm-Project at the University of Siegen, before joing the <a href="http://www.libertysecurity.org/article2505.html">final CHALLENGE-Conference</a> in Brussels next week.]]></description>
